Other designs known for excellent cast accuracy are the Louverin style bullets, like the Lyman 311407. Even then it is part witchcraft and part science, and if you are buying certified alloys, you aren't saving a whole lot either. You may get good results (Good is easy- excellent is not!), but expecting jacketed performance is very optimistic. without a lot of care and with careful alloy mixing and preparation you will not get phenomenal results. You may find this much easier to use in more modern 308s, or those with a shorter throat. The K31 style molds have a tapered area leading up to the bearing surface, which makes fitting the bullet to your throat very easy, and is conducive to good accuracy.
